Dr. Donald Gay

    Dr. Gay is a practicing Chiropractor who specializes in Applied Kinesiology and Clinical Nutrition with a focus on Wellness and Anti-Aging.  He has practiced for 40 years and owned and managed the Whole Life Healing Centre in Lakewood, Colorado from 1985 to 2004. 

    The clinic was a multidisciplinary center that has included Chiropractic, Medi-cal, Homeopathic, and Naturopathic physicians, and has offered Acupuncture, Physical Therapy, Massage, Reflexology, Nutritionists, and many different types of Energy Work.  

    Dr. Gay graduated as Salutatorian from Arcadia Valley High School in Missouri and he earned an appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy.  Colorblindness prompted a change in focus, and a spinal injury and his father’s battle with lung cancer led him into Chiropractic and Clinical Nutrition.  He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in January of 1977.  He worked in a Holistic Cancer Clinic for several years and then started his own clinic in Broomfield, Colorado.

    For 2 years, Dr. Gay was a preceptor for the Alternative and Complementary Health pro-gram for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Colorado School of Health Sciences.  The program introduced Internal Medicine and other Residents at the Medical School to the concepts and practices of Alternative Doctors in the field. 

    Dr. Gay has been focusing on Nutritional and Herbal Medicine for over 40 years and is certified in Herbal Medicine by the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy.  He started his herbal work personally studying and working with patients with Reid Worthington – the renown herbalist that founded and formulated Celestial Seasonings. He has worked with the largest team of scientists in the world researching herbs, Unigen Pharmaceuticals, for over 15 years and was on the Medical Advisory board for Univera for 2 years and is currently on their Science Advisory Board.  He has been using CBD’s and Hemp concentrates in his practice for years with excellent results.

    He and his wife Bridget currently have a 2000 acre farm/ranch and live with Morgan Horses,  dogs, cats, and chickens and enjoy country life and running a working farm and ranch in southern Colorado.  Their High Country Hemp Farm has been focusing on de-veloping and raising Industrial/Herbal Hemp since 2015.  Dr. Gay and Bridget, along with her brother Michael Sprague opened the High Country Lab in 2016 to process me-dicinal hemp for the high CBD Hemp Oil for themselves and other growers.  They now produce their own line of high quality CBD-hemp based products for health recovery, wellness, anti-aging, beauty and skin care.

    Dr. Gay is currently lecturing locally in Colorado and around the country on Wellness, Longevity and Anti-Aging.
