Dr. Gay graduated as Salutatorian from Arcadia Valley High School in Missouri and he earned an appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy.  Colorblindness prompted a change in focus, and a spinal injury and his father’s battle with lung cancer led him into Chiropractic and Clinical Nutrition.  He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in January of 1977.  He worked in a Holistic Cancer Clinic for several years and then started his own clinic in Broomfield, Colorado.

For 2 years, Dr. Gay was a preceptor for the Alternative and Complementary Health pro-gram for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Colorado School of Health Sciences.  The program introduced Internal Medicine and other Residents at the Medical School to the concepts and practices of Alternative Doctors in the field.
